Winners of the 2010 Children’s Service of the Year

Just in case you haven’t noticed the team at Midson Road were very excited to win the Northern District Times – Children’s Service of the Year award for 2010. We were up against 4 other very strong contenders  in the finals, so winning felt great !

We look forward to reading an official report in the next few weeks from the judging panel. What we do know is that it was the votes from our parents that got us to the finals, then there was a written submission that Mel, Ngaire and Jess put together and finally a mystery shopper assessed us too! 

These awards are a great thing not only for us as a small business but also helps with our quest to show that Early Childhood Care and Education and the Children’s Services sector is an important part of our society & is a real profession.
